UK HealthCare Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a certified pharmacy technician to become a patient care coordinator in the specialty pharmacy call center. This job works directly with patients via phone and MyChart to facilitate medication delivery in a fast-paced environment. This position will provide a variety of specialty pharmacy services including obtaining prior authorizations, enrolling patients in financial support programs, and coordinating first time dispenses and refills for specialty medications prescribed within UK HealthCare. This role will work closely with nurses, physicians and UK Specialty Pharmacy staff to improve access to medications for a variety of sub specialty disease states.
This position has a hybrid work from home schedule where employees work one week at our specialty pharmacy location and two weeks at home. This position is eligible for a sign on bonus if certain criteria are met.
