Pharmacy Technician
The incumbents perform all duties expected of pharmacy technician employees, and they are expected to work on an independent level and operate in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and techniques. Pharmacy Technicians possess advanced technical skills and expertise allowing them to serve as pharmacy trainers for other technician staff. Additionally, they possess the education and experience to exercise judgment and solve problems. The GS6 technicians are PTCB certified. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
