This is the heartbeat of our organization and your time will be spent in a supportive, team environment with resources to help you flourish and leaders who care about your success.* Assist the Pharmacist in prioritizing medication orders, and works closely with Pharmacist(s) in determining routine daily department needs* Perform medication order functions such as order interpretation, preparation, drug distribution, and quality assurance* Provide exemplary customer service and respect at all times during interactions with patients, customers, healthcare providers and other associates. * The outpatient/retail pharmacy technician is responsible for all pharmacy technician activities and adhering to assigned work schedules * Provide direction and guidance to other technicians and pharmacy interns during their training in pharmacy drug distribution and operational matters when requestedWhat You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:* High School Diploma/G.E.D. Required* Active Pharmacy Technician License (Kansas), Certification (Colorado) or Provisional Certification (Colorado), Required. Provision Certifications must obtain State Certification within 12 months* National PTCB required within 6 months of hire required* Attains professional growth by attending or participating in a minimum of 10 hours of continuing education annually*Physical Requirements*Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantlyYour Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
