Atlantic Health System is seeking a full time Oncology Pharmacy Technician III for the Pharmacy Department at Overlook Medical Center to work 8AM - 4PM shift, including every 6th weekend.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• This posting is for an oncology pharmacy technician to work at Overlook Medical Center based pharmacy infusion centers.
• The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for medication preparation and delivery, use of pharmacy automation which includes Omnicell and EPIC.
• The incumbent technician will be responsible for the safe and accurate preparation of intravenous admixtures, which include chemotherapy, in accordance with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines.
• The candidate may work at one of three off site locations (Springfield, West Orange, or Union) mixing chemotherapy/hazardous medications.
• The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Minimum Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College courses desirable but not required

Minimum Experience:

• 1 year of previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current active registration and license with the State of New Jersey Board of Pharmacy
• Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
