Atlantic Health System is seeking a full time Oncology Pharmacy Technician III for the Pharmacy Department at Overlook Medical Center to work 8AM - 4PM shift, including every 6th weekend.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
This posting is for an oncology pharmacy technician to work at Overlook Medical Center based pharmacy infusion centers.
The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for medication preparation and delivery, use of pharmacy automation which includes Omnicell and EPIC.
The incumbent technician will be responsible for the safe and accurate preparation of intravenous admixtures, which include chemotherapy, in accordance with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines.
The candidate may work at one of three off site locations (Springfield, West Orange, or Union) mixing chemotherapy/hazardous medications.
The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
College courses desirable but not required
Minimum Experience:
1 year of previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
Current active registration and license with the State of New Jersey Board of Pharmacy
Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
