Atlantic Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at Summit, NJ. Scheduled to work primarily every second weekend, but shifts may vary depending on the departmental needs.

Essential Functions:

• The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for medication preparation and delivery and use of pharmacy automation which includes Medication Carousel, Omnicell and EPIC.
• The technician may also be responsible for safe and accurate preparation of intravenous admixtures which may include chemotherapy, in accordance with USP 797 and 800 guidelines.
• The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

License/Certifications:

• Registration in New Jersey required
• PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification required or will obtain within 90 days of employment

Relevant Experience:

• 1+ year of acute experience is a plus
