Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-time evening pharmacy technician in the Pharmacy Department at Overlook Medical Center. Hours will be 3p-11p.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Medication preparation and delivery, use of pharmacy automation which includes the Medication Carousel, EPIC and the Omnicell.
- The incumbent technician will also be responsible for the safe and accurate preparation of intravenous admixtures which may include chemotherapy in accordance with USP 797 and 800 guidelines.
- The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirments:
- Candidate must be demonstrate excellent communication skills and internal/external communication skills
- Candidate must be able to work full-time 3p-11p.
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
License/Certifications:
- NJ BOP registration required
- PTCB certification rerquired or will obtain within 90 days of employment
Relevant Experience:
- 1+ year of previous experience strongly preferred
